Originally from Sharon, Massachusetts, I moved to Melbourne eight years ago with my wife Sara and our four children after receiving rabbinic ordination from Yeshivat Hamivtar in Israel. Beyond my role at Blake Street, I am a teacher at Leibler Yavneh College, a jazz singer with the pioneering Alter Jazz Ensemble and an aspiring novelist.

Yaffa's focus at Blake Street will be the Shabbat programming at shule, engaging the Bnei Mitzvah students, as well as forming a youth leadership team.
